The dark days are not over...

Quick post today as I am absolutely shattered! Came in from work last night then had to get on with coursework before being up again for my 9 o clock start today.
Learnt alot of interesting stuff in my lecture today, who knew that spray on clothing and garments that purify the air as you wear them could be the future of fashion... I didn't. Not sure how I feel about spray on clothing though. :/
I then went for a drink with the boyf, and am supposed to be seeing friends tonight, however, after a very long day yesterday and only 3 hours sleep last night, I am just excited to get a hot shower and head off to bed.
Anywho. This is what I wore.

Sorry for the dusty looking photos, my camera is playing up once again.
Shirt and socks - New Look, Skirt - Ark, Jacket - Next - Creepers - Pasha.

Bought this shirt a few days ago and thought I would grunge it down in my own way. As you know I am OBSESSED with the leather trend for this season, and I thought teaming it with double leather and creepers would rock the trend in my own grungy way. Also, how cute are these socks?!

Now I am off for a shower and to bed!
Ciao ciao for now my beauts!

Laddered tights.

So those of you who follow me on twitter will know that on Saturday my laptop had a fit and effectively blew up. So unfortunately, I had to haul arse to Staples to use my shoe/clothing/flat deposit fund to buy a new one. At the time I seriously resented this, however, when I came home today from the Boyf's and had a chance to play about with it, I have decided it is money well spent.
I switched it on and only had to wait one minute for it to load up, as opposed to the twenty I had to wait for the previous one.
Rest in Peace baby, you were my first laptop, and we had a wonderful five years together, however, the time has come to update you for a newer model.

In other news, I tried yet another hair colour. It was supposed to come out mint, however, I got the colour to conditioner ratio totally wrong so it made me look like apple sours. Although I liked it, my fam fell on the floor laughing at me so I thought I had better fade it out, so several washes and a long day in the shower later, I have some semblance to pastel mint, hoorah!

Bowler hat - Topshop, Leather jacket - Next, Necklace - Miss Selfridge, Dress and boots -River Island.

Now I thought this dress would go pretty well with my hair, so although it is old, and quite ripped I decided to wear it, but toughen it up a bit with the leather jacket and hat. The hat is also because the green dye made my roots black, and I am trying to put off having it bleached till I am a bit closer to uni, so this hat will feature alot!

I bought these boots a little while ago at River Island, however, I haven't worn them much, despite being very comfy, they have somehow become too big for me, so they will shortly be up for sale. Size 7, originally £45 but I will sell them for around £20 or any offers really.

So I have a pretty dull day tomorrow. I am heading off to the gym, possibly to Tesco food shopping. Possibly heading to the boyf's again tomorrow night, which will brighten it all up somewhat, especially if he watches more Disney with me, hint hint if you're reading this ;)

Another quick note, it was a lovely surprise after my short technology induced break from blogging to come back and find that I had a few more followers, so a massive thank you to you all, it makes me so happy to know that people actually want to continually read my endless ramblings!

What are you all doing tonight/tomorrow?

Lavender love.

Evening all!
I am pleased to announce... I finally, after about 6 attempts, managed to dye my hair a lilac/lavender colour, and I have to say, I love it!
I also thought as the sun was out today it would be a good day to show off my new playsuit. This baby is all the things I love, cream and black, lace and a peter pan collar. Lovely. It isn't the most flattering of outfits, but hell, a pair of spanks and control tights makes a world of difference I think.

Playsuit - Ark, Jacket - Next, Boots - Pasha

This playsuit is another gorgeous piece from Ark, my new fave shop. There is a small fault in that the lining hangs out under the lace, but for £13 who can complain!

So guys, what do you guys think of the lavender hair? I am so excited about it! After attempting to lighten it with blonde dye several times and the lilac refusing to take, I finally bit the bullet and had my lovely hairdresser Sally, bleach me in a full head of foils, and I am over the moon to say that it worked! I also decided to get a couple more inches taken off the bottom as it is growing so fast at the moment!
What are you all doing with your Saturday night and the rest of the weekend? Hopefully something more exciting than me as I am sitting in watching Hangover 2 and blog stalking. Excited for the boyf to see my hair tomorrow though, worried it might make me too crazy for him XD

Psycho weather

What is going on with the weather today people! Madness!
So I woke up today to find that my cough and cold have got 10 times worse and it was pouring outside, so I  decided on comfy black again for the day, a choice I rejoiced in when I went to my doctors appointment to be told that I have put on 4 kilos since my last trip, 9 weeks ago. Horrendous. So Black was definitely the right choice.

Here is today's outfit!

Dress - River Island, Top - New Look, Bag - Primark, Leather jacket - Next, Creepers - Pasha.

As you can see, the weather then decided to turn bright and sunny, albeit a bit windy, so we took my camera up to the beach  for a bit more of an exciting lot of photo locations. Apologies for the windy hair!
Also this will hopefully be the last blog I do as a blonde for a while, tomorrow I am gonna get my hair bleached so I can finally dye it lilac! Excited!
What are you all doing this weekend? Weather permitting of course!

Shopping, sushi, chatting and cocktails.

Hi peeps!

Today has been a fantastic day! I met up with one of the bezzers in Norwich for a bit of shopping, where I bought the most gorgeous dress. I actually think it was made for me, even though it is coloured and shows off a bit of skin, but as I am feeling a bit adventurous, I thought I would try it on and it was perfect! I will have an outfit post with it hopefully tomorrow.
We then had some tasty sushi as my prayers have been answered and a Yo Sushi! has been opened in Norwich. Honestly never thought I would see the day, but blimey, am I pleased I have!
After that we did a bit more shopping. Headed to Topshop and found those leggings I was on about, with the skulls and the roses. Turns out they are not worth £20, I tried on a size 8 as I thought they might be tighter and last longer because I am normally a 10, however, they were already really loose and flimsy so I knew that they would be worn once before they completely lost their shape, so I didn't buy them. Besides, I am back home now so I get lectured on how I don't need any more clothes by my dad whenever I come home. (He told me off for the dress)
After an exhausting afternoon shopping we headed for a few cocktails, then what seemed like 5 minutes later ( We were actually there for 3 and a half hours) we realised that we were about to miss our last buses home!

Did manage to squeeze in some outfit photos though, be thankful people, nearly ended up stranded for these haha!

Jacket - Next Cross Tee - Topshop Glasses - Red Or Dead, PU and denim jeans and scarf (on bag) - New Look Boots - Pasha, Bag - Aldo

These jeans are my favourite jeans as they are so versatile! They are great for wearing smart with a shirt and heels or with a loose Tee for a rock-chick look. They are also great for girls cursed with the same figure as me because they are high waisted, but instead of a button and zips they have 2 zips that sit over the hip bones. They reach up to my bellybutton so they pull in the spare tyre!
Once again, praise for these boots, walked all round Norwich all day in these babies and once again, no pain! Everyone NEEDS a pair of these!!

Almost forgot, I also finally dared to buy myself an eyebrow pencil, rather excited about testing it out tomorrow and ditching the current brown eyeshadow! This may take me a while to master though, as make up is not my strong point and I tend to wear exactly the same make up every day!

Anywho...
Enough with the rambling for one night! Time to get some sleep so I can get up and join the gym tomorrow! Time to get skinny! Anyone got anything nice planned?

Ciao ciao my sexy beasts.

Today I felt all creative...

Good evening my lovely people!

Firstly, I wanna say a massive thank you to the people who followed me since last night, it really means the world to me! You made my day :D

Today I was back at work, for my penultimate day at Jeffery West. Such a good day, but tiring too. I had to take a trip to the library, then spend hours pouring over ancient books to find facts about Northampton and the shoe industry. Did you guys know that in 1900 there was 223 pubs in Northampton?! I didn't till today either, there you go a nice piece of info for you all. You learn something new every day! Not entirely sure when that information would come in useful, but today when I was counting them out of a book from 1900 that was barely legible I would have loved that little nugget of knowledge.
I then managed to get myself lost going back to work, a trip I have done every day this week. Ended up walking like 2 miles past where I needed to be, then realising I wasn't where I thought I was and having to backtrack to get back into town, then actually start walking. Funtimes. Not gonna lie people, my feet are sooo blistered and I wasn't even wearing heels!

Anywho. I got another outfit post for you today, my apologies at me looking a little awkward and chunky in the photos, I am having another fat day. It took me ages to decide what to wear today and several outfit changes, but I finally settled on this peter pan collared dress as it is comfy and loose and great for days like today, when you just wanna hide away under something.

Dress - Missselfridge Leather Jacket - Next Chelsea boots - Asos Retro sunglasses - Primark.

I love this jacket. It is good for chucking on over anything, whether it be jeans and a tee or for toughening up a girly dress.
These boots however, are a bit of a dissapointment for me. I bought them in the middle of January this year, and by the end of January the leather had lost all its stiffness so the now bulge a bit around the fit. Still, they are nice and comfy so I wear them when I am having one of those bleugh days.

I also was inspired whilst looking through lookbook and other blogs to get creative. I've seen cut out skull Tees on other people (I'm not going to pretend I came up with the idea, because I didn't) and decided to give it ago myself, so I picked up a plain tee on the way home today and gave it a bash!

First I used anything lightly coloured that I could find, make up being the only thing handy, and drew out the shapes I wanted.
I then took scissors to it and started chopping. A silly idea really, considering how blunt my scissors are!
Took me hours, but I am actually quite happy with the result!

I will definitely attempt this again with a better, looser tee so you can't see my bulges, and next time I will do it a bit higher and smaller so I can wear it tucked into these shorts and actually see the full mouth. Also not too keen on the bra straps showing through either haha!

So there you go, another day in the life of Samma.
I'm gonna say goodnight now, and not even attempt to start watching a film, as I think I will be snoring by the time the opening credits are over.

Hope you all have a great night and lovely day!
