Last days of 2012...

Gosh doesn't it feel strange to be saying that?! Feels like we are only half way through the year, let alone welcoming a new one!
I haven't a lot to report since my last post. I have spent most of it with the boyf, generally snuggled up watching TV programs and enjoying the last few days of the calorie fest before the starvation begins in the New Year.

Oh, a quick note on the dress in the previous post, as much as I love it, if anyone is considering buying it, the dye runs. I took it off the other day to find my body had been dyed dark grey. Not an attractive look. However, the dress is really pretty and a present, so I shall let it slide. Just have to be really careful washing it.

Today I went to a friends house, where I consumed far too much food and wine, and according to her dad, spent a whole seven hours idly chatting away!
This is what I wore.

Tee, boots and necklace - Topshop, Skirt - River Island, Cardigan - Primark, Socks - Newlook

This beautiful skirt was a gift from the boyf for Christmas and I love it! I wanted to wear it with clashing, more grungy stuff so I paired it with my Halloween Tee and Cross socks. The fit isn't the best I must admit, with the size 10 being way too small, and the size 12 (wearing here) is a little too big, but I will put up with it because it is pretty.
I love the devore roses on it, the colours are gorgeous!

I am now off to bed to watch Perks of being a Wallflower. I watched it last night but thought it was fantastic, and as I can't really be bothered to look for a new film to watch, I'm just gonna watch it again. Sad huh?

Cannot believe this is my last post of 2012. What a year it has been! Possibly one of the best of my life! Quite sad to see it go, but looking forward to seeing what 2013 has in store for us. Also more than a little relieved that the world did not end and we are still here to say that!

Happy New Year my gorgeous followers! Have a fantastic one, be merry and good luck with all those resolutions. I for one have many, starting with lose 21 lb, quit smoking, go to the gym more, be more organised, get better grades, be careful with my money, blah blah blah. The list could go on for pages and pages.

Do any of you have any resolutions?

Have a good one!
Love you all! Thanks for making this year great!

Merry Christmas Everyone...

Good evening all!
I am sat, as I imagine many of you are too, on the sofa, watching lord of the rings in jim jams feeling an intense fear of the scales after too much glorious food and wine.

I am very lucky to say that this year I have had 2 Christmases. My lovely boyf and his family celebrate their Christmas on Christmas eve, so I went to theirs for their Christmas. A lovely meal, then presents at midnight.
I am pleasantly surprised at my presents from the boyf, this year he got it completely right, after spinning me tales and making me dread the thought of faking excitement in front of his family, it actually turned out that he had bought me perfect presents. However, he bought me the most beautiful skirt that I had been lusting over for months, and although in my regular size, it was miles too small. Too much stress eating and Christmas food has taken its toll so I need to swap the skirt then hit the treadmill. In a big way.
My dad then picked me up Christmas morning, where I came home for a second Christmas.

This is what I wore for our Christmas dinner.

Dress and socks - River Island, Boots - Topshop, Hair bow - Brooch off River Island Trousers.

This dress was a present from the boyf. He had me thinking he had bought me a bright red, bodycon, peplum monstrosity that had me in cold sweats, then I opened this gorgeous little number. Spot on. And even though it is a size 10, it manages to hide my (Recently) size 12-14 bum and tum.

My dad bought me the boots for Christmas. I know I bought these earlier in the year, however, I had to send them back because there was a fault in the leather that had caused them to split, then when I went to re order them, they had been taken off the website. My dad then bought them for me when they came back on. Thank goodness as all my flat shoes have fallen apart and I have nothing to wear for work!

I am now off to continue eating, drinking and watching telly before starvation and gymming commences next week!
Merry Christmas Everybody!
Love you all!

P.S. Best Christmas present of all was making it to 50 followers this week! Thanks so much guys!

I'm back... Again

Hi guuuyyyss!
Sorry for my long departure. Again.
The coursework deadlines hit me like a brick to the face and I have spent the last month in a mad studying frenzy... Half the time not even getting out of my jim jams hence a lack of outfit posts. Or posts at all for that matter. However, only two assignments left to go and the deadlines aren't till January. So the panic can buzz off for a few days.
To celebrate the end of term I had the bestie come to stay. We went for steak and drinks on Friday, followed by more drinks (fabulous cocktails) at this little place called Hakamou. If you're ever in Northampton, I strongly recommend a visit. The Hawaiian setting based underneath the shopping center is incredible, topped off with 80s tunes and a smokey atmosphere, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Even more so when I tasted their Bear's Bollock, a mixture of coconut rum and fruit juices inside a frozen coconut. Check out my instagram for piccys.
Anywho. Here is what I wore for the night.

Tee and necklace - Topshop, Shorts - River Island, Bow - Brooch off River Island trousers, Earrings - Vintage.

Apologies for the weight gain. Not pretty. Stress eating has taken its toll and my shorts are considerably tighter. Going to attempt a good, healthy week before Christmas binging.

The gold eye make up is colour tattoo. I love this stuff. I find it glams up the most grungy of outfits and you can paint it on without much control and it still looks cool. Or at least I think it does. It is just a pain in the butt to get off again. Be prepared to scrub your eyes raw with make up remover to shift it.

I am now off back to bed to watch a good film, and as I am here all week on my lonesome for work, I will crack on with the last assignments later. All the stressing has given me a cold. Thank the lord for hot water bottles.

If any of you lovely people have any good films to watch when you're ill then let me know. I am running out of ideas.

I must say it is nice to be back!
Love love love!
