My trip to London...

So on Friday I went to London shopping with a friend. If you read my blog, you will know the stuff I was planning on buying. Well, I bought the pleather leggings and the ox blood peplum top, however, when it came to the gorgeous studded Jeffrey Campbell's, I chickened out. I loved them sooo much, however, the spikes were huge and when I tired them on I knew I wouldn't be able to get into clubs in them so I didn't get them. Anyway. Here is my new outfit.

Top and pleather leggings - Topshop, Boots - Pasha, Collar, skull bangle and knuckle rings - Kukee, Watch - Fossil

I have always maintained that I hate anything to do with peplums, however, I tried this on after visiting China Town and eating as much as I could physically fit in, and I found that it hid my food baby completely, and even in these photos where I was incredibly bloated and it pain it still was flattering. It also works wonders for those who are not particularly blessed in the bust department, making me look several sizes bigger than I actually am! So I take back all my hate and am now intending to buy this top in a few more colours.

These pleather trousers are amazing, so comfy and stretchy, however, I fear I will have to exchange them next time I get anywhere near a Topshop, as the stitching around the seams is starting to fall apart after only a couple of days.

The new jewellery is all bought from Kukee, and I must say I am incredibly impressed with them. The jewellery was very reasonably priced, (The collar was £5!) and arrived very quickly. I ordered it at 3 o clock Sunday morning, it was here by Thursday, all packaged up nicely with coloured tissue paper.

I am still on the lookout for some Jeffrey Campbells online, so if anyone knows of any websites that stock them, other than Office, as they don't do refunds, then please let me know. I will love you forever!

Tonight I am off to the gym and for a swim, what are all your plans for the evening?

Planning a trip...

So Friday I am off to London for the day, shopping and lunch in China Town with my oldest and best friend Becky. I am so excited I can hardly contain it! This week is going to drag because I am so excited!

So anyway. These are a few bits I am planning on picking up. Totes can't afford it, but you only live once and you can't take it with you! The boots are extreme but to hell with the consequences!!

Tee and Peplum top and PU leggings - Topshop, Bag - River Island, Boots - Jeffrey Campbell.
These are if I don't find some other cool things while we explore Camden. What do you all think? Worth facing the wrath of my dad for being irresponsible with money, then being lectured on my shopping addiction?

Sun... Finally!

HOORAAAYYY!!!!
The sun has finally reached England. And I don't just mean just measley, lukewarm sun, I mean boiling hot, outside in a bikini type of sun. Which is exactly what I did with the first part of my day. As I spent my last couple of weeks at Uni tanning, I only need a couple of minutes in the sun to top it up, so I took my brew, my book, a towel and my deathsticks out and lazed away in the sun for an hour.
Those of you that know me, know that I am pretty narrow minded when it comes to books. I generally only read stories of rich people with issues, as I like to think that their lives may be great with nice houses and designer clothes and lush cars, but they still have problems, generally that which are far worse than our own. To me it is the perfect form of escape, and normally I won't pick up a book unless it is by Tasmina Perry, Rebecca Chance or Jackie Collins. This time however, (perhaps due to the fact that Asda didn't have any of those) I chose to broaden my horizons and read something different, so I picked up a book about passion and murder, called Complicit by Nicci French, and although I am only one way through it, I must say it is utter rubbish!!!
Still, I shall battle on through, I am obsessive about finishing off a book once I have started, and hope to god that it gets a bit better.

I then took my motivated butt off to the gym to majorly work out, which made me feel a bit better about myself, and I feel like although I really have done nothing, I have really achieved something with my day haha!
I then decided, that as the sun was out, that I would do an outfit post for you while I went for a little walk up the beach with my dad. (Aww.)

Dress - Ark, Shirt - River Island, Studded Sandals - River Island, Bag - Vintage, Earrings - Vintage, Leather bracelets - Topshop, Charm Bracelet- Pandora, Skull bracelets - Spun Out, Spike Ring - Miss Selfridge, Gold Bangle - Flea Market.

So I know that you have all seen this dress before, but I love it. Therefore I don't care! Haha. Plus, I thought it went well with my denim shirt tied around it and my lovely studded sandals. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that these sandals previously grew feet of their own and walked off. However, since I returned from uni, I found them in an old shoe box in one of my wardrobes.

The straw bag was my mum's. It has seen better days, it fraying slightly and falling apart, but I think that just adds to it's charm, not to mention it's sentimental value.

You have seen all these bracelets before, except the big gold bangle, which I bought when I was on a cruise 4 years ago. I bought it on a flea market (I love them!) but I cannot actually remember what country we were in as we visited so many.

I am also extremely pleased to announce that I have finally bought myself some new jewellery, which I shall post in a haul post when it arrives. I am so excited! (My life is a little dull right now and I don't often buy jewellery!)

So what have you all been up to on this lovely Saturday? Are you up to much tomorrow?

Ciao Ciao for now!

Dip - Dye!

Hey you guuuuuyyyyys!

So I am pleased to announce that I have not spent the day lounging around and actually had a reason to get dressed today. (Those who are regular readers know that I spend my days generally in my onesie until I return to Uni) However, I was sooo busy today I didn't have time to get a full outfit post done for you guys. I'm sorryyy!
On the other hand though, between my two trips to the pub (Alchy!) I found time to re-do my hair. I was feeling adventurous, so I tried lilac with blue dip-dye. I fear that my hair may actually be a bit crazy, even for me, but I know that if it doesn't grow on me that it will wash out quickly so I can experiment with more different combinations.

This is the result...

The colours I used for this are Lilac and Lagoon Blue by Directions.
The shirt is by River Island.

Now my hair is a bit patchy in places, and the lilac came out darker than I hoped, but I think this is down to me being over-ambitious and doing the dip-dye at the same time as the lilac. As the dye requires combing through once it is applied I think I mixed the dyes up a little, but it is my first attempt at dip-dying myself, so I know for next time to do them separately.

I am rather excited about the next week or so, tomorrow I am seeing a friend, who despite living only 30 seconds away I haven't seen in over a year, due to Uni and stuff, then in the evening I am off to an Ann Summers party (Ohhh lala!) then to the boyfs to attempt yoga, a new found love of his. I suspect that it will end up as a game of twister with us lying in knots on the floor having fallen over, but it will be fun none-the-less. I should also really find time to fit a gym session in, as I skipped it today in favour of staying in bed, a huge mistake as I ate a huge sausage sarnie and an enormous amount of home-made cookie dough last night out of pure boredum.
Hopefully I shall find time to do some laundry and an outfit post for you tomorrow. Laundry being the most important as I have worn nearly everything (nice) that I own.
So what are you all up to over the weekend? Anything exciting?

Toodle Pip!

Tuesday 17 July 2012

Long lazy days.

Hi guys, sorry for my blogging absence for the last few days, I have no excuse other than I haven't really done enough to get dressed, except for yesterday, when I went out for dinner. However, due to the fact that I now have a stomach bug on top of this cold, so I haven't felt my best, and have now featured all my fat clothes! Time to go shopping!
I got dressed today for 2 reasons, one so I could finally do a blog post, the other to walk to Tesco for teabags and a magazine. Living life in the fast lane right?!
So anyway. This is what I wore.

Faux fur coat, playsuit and top - River Island, Belt - Vintage, Socks - Topshop, Creepers - Pasha.

I bought this coat 2 years ago and this playsuit over a year ago. I was bought the top by the boyf as one of my lovely birthday presents.
I thought the coat would be a great idea as it has a huge hood on it, I thought it would be warm and cosy, however, in bad weather it is so big it just falls down either over my face or backwards, so it actually doesn't help!

On another note I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has read/followed/commented this week. I've not been feeling too positive about things, having nothing to do and no job for the first time in 6 years, so my blog has been my main focus, and knowing that people actually read it makes me feel 100 times better, so a massive thank you!

What are all of you up to this evening? I'm intending to catch up on blogs and find some new ones, (leave me links!) paint my nails as the funky silver has finally started to chip. It lasted a while though! Unlike my hair, which as you can see is all but gone now! Gonna buy more dye tomorrow, I'm thinking of doing lilac with blue dip-dye, so if any of you beauty bloggers have any tips on how to make it last longer and how to dip-dye myself, please let me know!

Anyway, that's enough rambling for one night!

Have a good evening my lovers!

Thursday 12 July 2012

A very rare sunny day in July.

So today I looked out my window and saw that although it was sunny, it was very windy, so I suspected that  it would be cold. I felt that it would be a good idea to dress warmly in my trusty black stuff before I went to apply for yet another job, this time at a hair salon.
However, when I was waiting for the bus I realised how warm it was and that I had made a mistake in not wearing a tee and shorts.

Anyway. This is a fairly short post on account of I have to rush off and shower and get ready to see the boyf, he came home from uni today after packing up all his stuff, and we have a bit of a horror fest planned tonight yay!

So here are today's photos!

Glasses-Primark, Cape-H&M, Smock shirt-Forever 21, Leggings-Primark, Boots-Pasha.

Sorry about the slightly over exposed photos, the sun was very bright in my garden tonight!
I bought this cape from H&M last September, for the small price of £29.99 and I love it! It has a very 1960s feel to it, and the stripy lining has a cheeky flash through the sleeves.
The Smock shirt was bought from Forever 21 on my Uni trip to NYC, and has become one of my wardrobe faves. Loose and comfy, it is great for hiding away under when I am having one of those days, yet the sheer fabric allows for a sneaky sexy peek at what is underneath, so it can be made into a stylish, sexy top.

I have raved about these leggings and boots a million times so I won't do it again. Apart from saying that they are amazing. There.

What are you all up to this evening and tomorrow? Anyone got anything nice planned for the weekend?

I took these photos of some flowers in my garden just because they were pretty. And the red roses are my favourite colour ever.

Au revoir, toodle pip!

Tuesday 10 July 2012

Criss cross and polka dots.

Hiiiii guys!

So today has been a fairly dull day, the highlight was probably taking the 10 minute walk to Tesco for salad and fruit as I started to diet yesterday. I also joined the gym, but due to the fact that I probably have a chest infection I didn't want to attempt to get on a treadmill as I thought I might cough up a lung. Hopefully the doctor will provide me with antibiotics tomorrow. Oh I also went up to the club with the rents. It is sort of like a pub, but cheap and filled with old Norfolky folk. But who's complaining, cheap booze yay!
And I regret to say that I have another 2 full days of this as friends are all busy and the boyf has gone back to uni for a few days to pack up his stuff.
Anyway. This is what I wore today!

T-shirt - Topshop, Leggings - Primark, Boots - Pasha, Headscarf - Vintage, Chunky rings - Topshop, Silver ring - Earnest Jones, Watch - Fossil, Scull bracelets - Spun out Northampton, Charm bracelet - Pandora, Cross earring and flesh tunnel - Topshop, chain earring - Miss selfridge.

Now I know I've worn this tee for several posts, but I love it, it is so comfy and flattering. It hides all manner of spare tyre sins!
The watch I bought in New York on a Uni trip. I found highstreet fashion in New York rather disappointing so I spent most of my savings on this bit of bling. I'm a little bit obsessed with rose gold and man stuff, so this watch was perfect!
The rings were on sale in a set and a little bit gothic, so I had to have them.
The little silver ring was bought for me on my 19th birthday by my gorgeous boyf. It was the last one in this style in the shop and it was my size. Meant to be!
The headscarf was bought from a lovely little second hand shop round the corner from my house. I think it cost about 50p!

Now these leggings are something else. I will recommend these to everybody. They cost a glorious £4 in the Primark underwear section. As they are control leggings they pull you in and stop any wobbling! They are incredibly comfy, don't turn see - through (So there is no unsightly underwear flashes) and they have kept their shape, despite wearing them millions of times. Best £4 I have spent!

I am also proud to say I have stopped biting my nails! I have wanted to do it for ages, but couldn't get out of the habit, but then I got a gorgeous nail varnish free with Harpers mag, so I was inclined to stop biting my nails. However, this has happened many times, so we will see how long it lasts! Anyway, I found a silver nail varnish in my collection that I don't remember seeing before so I thought I would give it a go, and I love it! What do you think?

Anyway, I feel that is enough rambling for one night, incase you can't tell, I have had a couple of glasses of wine so I have the rabbits and am talking alot!
What are you all doing for the next few days? Any interesting plans?

Have a good night you sexual beings!

Monday 9 July 2012

Late nights.

Having been in bed all day having nothing to do, I now cannot sleep, bad times, so I thought I would share my latest wishlist with you guys.

I love the playsuit at the top, from Topshop. I love anything that is black and this combines black and a cute collar, so it is perfect!
The leopard print dress is cute, I love a leopard design, and this has pastels too, which I normally am not too keen on, unless it is in hair, but I love this, and am seriously considering buying it from Batoko as it is on sale for £6!
These funky leggings are also pretty darn groovy, also on sale for £12 from Batoko they too are a huge bargain! Seriously considering buying them myself, does anyone have any experience with buying from Batoko?
Finally, another gorgeous blouse from Fashion Frank. I love the fish tail design and the gorgeous little crosses  on the collar!

So what are you all up to this evening? Anyone else up late?
I am going to head off to bed and read Harry Potter, no doubt until the sun comes up. Anyone got any great books to recommend? I've read all mine a million times!

Ciao ciao sexy beasts!

Lavender love.

Evening all!
I am pleased to announce... I finally, after about 6 attempts, managed to dye my hair a lilac/lavender colour, and I have to say, I love it!
I also thought as the sun was out today it would be a good day to show off my new playsuit. This baby is all the things I love, cream and black, lace and a peter pan collar. Lovely. It isn't the most flattering of outfits, but hell, a pair of spanks and control tights makes a world of difference I think.

Playsuit - Ark, Jacket - Next, Boots - Pasha

This playsuit is another gorgeous piece from Ark, my new fave shop. There is a small fault in that the lining hangs out under the lace, but for £13 who can complain!

So guys, what do you guys think of the lavender hair? I am so excited about it! After attempting to lighten it with blonde dye several times and the lilac refusing to take, I finally bit the bullet and had my lovely hairdresser Sally, bleach me in a full head of foils, and I am over the moon to say that it worked! I also decided to get a couple more inches taken off the bottom as it is growing so fast at the moment!
What are you all doing with your Saturday night and the rest of the weekend? Hopefully something more exciting than me as I am sitting in watching Hangover 2 and blog stalking. Excited for the boyf to see my hair tomorrow though, worried it might make me too crazy for him XD
