Summer's in the air and baby, heaven's in your eyes.

So today I went out with a friend to town to pick up a few bits before her operation tomorrow. (GOOD LUCK LADY) The day was unbelievably hot, and I realised yet again that summer is not the time for leather clothing. I have said this the last several times I have been out, yet I still don't learn from it!
Anyway, this is my outfit of the day. I thought this would be a good opportunity to show you all my new tasselled bag that I bought last week.
I also bought this lipstick today too. I am not al that great on judging make up, my friend likes it, I'm not so sure, what do you all think?

Top and feather earrings - Newlook, Skirt and tassel bag - Ark, Boots - Jeffrey Campbell, Watch - Fossil, Above knuckle rings - Kukee, Spiked ring and skeleton necklace - Miss Selfridge, cross earring, skull ring and leather bracelets - Topshop, skull bracelets - Spun Out, Charm Bracelet - Pandora.

Gosh I didn't realise I was wearing that much!
Anywho, I spent an age looking for a tassel bag like this, only to find that they had sold out everywhere, but I finally found one!
I thought I would do a close up on my jewellery today as I realised I didn't actually have any decent photos of my above the knuckle rings from Kukee, who are amazing by the way. I've said that before, but I am still raving!

On another note, because my posts have got a bit repetitive recently, I thought I would write about a few things that are really exciting me at the moment.

Leather! - Incase you can't already tell, I am fully embracing the leather trend full on, (possibly too early, as it is soooo hot!) and wearing it constantly. The slightly gothic trend that has been hitting the glossies for the last 2 months is making me so excited for the change in seasons and the winter ahead! Never EVER thought I would say this, but bring on the cooler weather so we can all embrace our inner bikers and goths and don leather!

Pastel Hair! - So excited to see that this is a trend that will be sticking around for the next season! I would probably have kept it up a bit longer anyway, but it is nice to be Elle approved ;)

Major hair envy.

Patent/waxy garments! - Anything with a slightly fetishy feeling to it is alright with me!

This seriously cool dress is by Jill Sander, and I have to say, I wouldn't have the guts to wear it, I freaken' LOVE it!
(Image from Elle.com)

Suits! - Personally I don't think I will ever be able to pull off this classic wardrobe staple, and I seriously envy people that can. Maybe in a few years when I am a grown up and no longer wear spiky shoes and have normal coloured hair I might invest... Maybe.

A suit in red velvet?! What's not to love?!
(Image from Elle.com)

Tartan! - I am loving this trend, but I can't help but think I might wear it more in a punky sense than the scottish!

Loving this shirt from Ark! Studded boots, leather trousers and stacked bracelets, the glamorous punk look nailed!
(Image from arkclothing.com)

As excited as I am about the next season, I can't help but cringe at some trends, such as jewel embellishment, I can't help but think that it looks tacky. Even in the pages of Vogue, garments in this trend just remind me of something I would have worn as a little girl that had been pulled out of the dressing up box. I can't help but wonder what a catastrophe will be made of this trend on the high street.
Another major pet hate for me is the new 'lower heel.' I can understand I guess for practical reasons, the desire to buy a shoe like this, but I think unless it is sky high, it isn't worth doing!

Both big no nos in my opinion, but what do you think?

So at this point I was also going to add a youtube link of one of my tunes of the moment, but for those of you who are new to reading my blog, you should know that I am severely technologically challenged and I couldn't make it work. So if any of you could tell me how to do it, I shall try to put one on my next post!

Now I am off to bed as this post took me quite a bit longer than I thought it would, so I am going to chill with a film and catch up on reading Vogue!
Are you guys doing anything exciting this week?

Au revoir, toodle pip!

Laddered tights.

So those of you who follow me on twitter will know that on Saturday my laptop had a fit and effectively blew up. So unfortunately, I had to haul arse to Staples to use my shoe/clothing/flat deposit fund to buy a new one. At the time I seriously resented this, however, when I came home today from the Boyf's and had a chance to play about with it, I have decided it is money well spent.
I switched it on and only had to wait one minute for it to load up, as opposed to the twenty I had to wait for the previous one.
Rest in Peace baby, you were my first laptop, and we had a wonderful five years together, however, the time has come to update you for a newer model.

In other news, I tried yet another hair colour. It was supposed to come out mint, however, I got the colour to conditioner ratio totally wrong so it made me look like apple sours. Although I liked it, my fam fell on the floor laughing at me so I thought I had better fade it out, so several washes and a long day in the shower later, I have some semblance to pastel mint, hoorah!

Bowler hat - Topshop, Leather jacket - Next, Necklace - Miss Selfridge, Dress and boots -River Island.

Now I thought this dress would go pretty well with my hair, so although it is old, and quite ripped I decided to wear it, but toughen it up a bit with the leather jacket and hat. The hat is also because the green dye made my roots black, and I am trying to put off having it bleached till I am a bit closer to uni, so this hat will feature alot!

I bought these boots a little while ago at River Island, however, I haven't worn them much, despite being very comfy, they have somehow become too big for me, so they will shortly be up for sale. Size 7, originally £45 but I will sell them for around £20 or any offers really.

So I have a pretty dull day tomorrow. I am heading off to the gym, possibly to Tesco food shopping. Possibly heading to the boyf's again tomorrow night, which will brighten it all up somewhat, especially if he watches more Disney with me, hint hint if you're reading this ;)

Another quick note, it was a lovely surprise after my short technology induced break from blogging to come back and find that I had a few more followers, so a massive thank you to you all, it makes me so happy to know that people actually want to continually read my endless ramblings!

What are you all doing tonight/tomorrow?

Sun... Finally!

HOORAAAYYY!!!!
The sun has finally reached England. And I don't just mean just measley, lukewarm sun, I mean boiling hot, outside in a bikini type of sun. Which is exactly what I did with the first part of my day. As I spent my last couple of weeks at Uni tanning, I only need a couple of minutes in the sun to top it up, so I took my brew, my book, a towel and my deathsticks out and lazed away in the sun for an hour.
Those of you that know me, know that I am pretty narrow minded when it comes to books. I generally only read stories of rich people with issues, as I like to think that their lives may be great with nice houses and designer clothes and lush cars, but they still have problems, generally that which are far worse than our own. To me it is the perfect form of escape, and normally I won't pick up a book unless it is by Tasmina Perry, Rebecca Chance or Jackie Collins. This time however, (perhaps due to the fact that Asda didn't have any of those) I chose to broaden my horizons and read something different, so I picked up a book about passion and murder, called Complicit by Nicci French, and although I am only one way through it, I must say it is utter rubbish!!!
Still, I shall battle on through, I am obsessive about finishing off a book once I have started, and hope to god that it gets a bit better.

I then took my motivated butt off to the gym to majorly work out, which made me feel a bit better about myself, and I feel like although I really have done nothing, I have really achieved something with my day haha!
I then decided, that as the sun was out, that I would do an outfit post for you while I went for a little walk up the beach with my dad. (Aww.)

Dress - Ark, Shirt - River Island, Studded Sandals - River Island, Bag - Vintage, Earrings - Vintage, Leather bracelets - Topshop, Charm Bracelet- Pandora, Skull bracelets - Spun Out, Spike Ring - Miss Selfridge, Gold Bangle - Flea Market.

So I know that you have all seen this dress before, but I love it. Therefore I don't care! Haha. Plus, I thought it went well with my denim shirt tied around it and my lovely studded sandals. If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that these sandals previously grew feet of their own and walked off. However, since I returned from uni, I found them in an old shoe box in one of my wardrobes.

The straw bag was my mum's. It has seen better days, it fraying slightly and falling apart, but I think that just adds to it's charm, not to mention it's sentimental value.

You have seen all these bracelets before, except the big gold bangle, which I bought when I was on a cruise 4 years ago. I bought it on a flea market (I love them!) but I cannot actually remember what country we were in as we visited so many.

I am also extremely pleased to announce that I have finally bought myself some new jewellery, which I shall post in a haul post when it arrives. I am so excited! (My life is a little dull right now and I don't often buy jewellery!)

So what have you all been up to on this lovely Saturday? Are you up to much tomorrow?

Ciao Ciao for now!

Criss cross and polka dots.

Hiiiii guys!

So today has been a fairly dull day, the highlight was probably taking the 10 minute walk to Tesco for salad and fruit as I started to diet yesterday. I also joined the gym, but due to the fact that I probably have a chest infection I didn't want to attempt to get on a treadmill as I thought I might cough up a lung. Hopefully the doctor will provide me with antibiotics tomorrow. Oh I also went up to the club with the rents. It is sort of like a pub, but cheap and filled with old Norfolky folk. But who's complaining, cheap booze yay!
And I regret to say that I have another 2 full days of this as friends are all busy and the boyf has gone back to uni for a few days to pack up his stuff.
Anyway. This is what I wore today!

T-shirt - Topshop, Leggings - Primark, Boots - Pasha, Headscarf - Vintage, Chunky rings - Topshop, Silver ring - Earnest Jones, Watch - Fossil, Scull bracelets - Spun out Northampton, Charm bracelet - Pandora, Cross earring and flesh tunnel - Topshop, chain earring - Miss selfridge.

Now I know I've worn this tee for several posts, but I love it, it is so comfy and flattering. It hides all manner of spare tyre sins!
The watch I bought in New York on a Uni trip. I found highstreet fashion in New York rather disappointing so I spent most of my savings on this bit of bling. I'm a little bit obsessed with rose gold and man stuff, so this watch was perfect!
The rings were on sale in a set and a little bit gothic, so I had to have them.
The little silver ring was bought for me on my 19th birthday by my gorgeous boyf. It was the last one in this style in the shop and it was my size. Meant to be!
The headscarf was bought from a lovely little second hand shop round the corner from my house. I think it cost about 50p!

Now these leggings are something else. I will recommend these to everybody. They cost a glorious £4 in the Primark underwear section. As they are control leggings they pull you in and stop any wobbling! They are incredibly comfy, don't turn see - through (So there is no unsightly underwear flashes) and they have kept their shape, despite wearing them millions of times. Best £4 I have spent!

I am also proud to say I have stopped biting my nails! I have wanted to do it for ages, but couldn't get out of the habit, but then I got a gorgeous nail varnish free with Harpers mag, so I was inclined to stop biting my nails. However, this has happened many times, so we will see how long it lasts! Anyway, I found a silver nail varnish in my collection that I don't remember seeing before so I thought I would give it a go, and I love it! What do you think?

Anyway, I feel that is enough rambling for one night, incase you can't tell, I have had a couple of glasses of wine so I have the rabbits and am talking alot!
What are you all doing for the next few days? Any interesting plans?

Have a good night you sexual beings!

All Black.

Despite the sun today I felt like wearing black, possibly because I haven't been feeling well and have had to skip the gym, therefore I am feeling a bit chunky so black is the best option right now.
I also found my skeleton tee that I forgot I had made so I thought I would wear that too.

Sorry I have been away for a while, I spent the weekend round my nan's house doing a 48 hour make over of her living room with the fam, hence a lack of outfit posts as I was covered in paint, concrete and soot.
Monday I spent delivering CVs around town, the job search continues. Bad times.

Anywho, here is today's outfit post!

Shirt and Trousers - Newlook Glasses - Primark Necklace - Miss Selfridge

So tonight I am off round a friend's house for dinner, drinks and girly films, then to see the lovely boyf. What are you guys all up to on this beautiful evening?

Just another Saturday...

So today I was forced to wake up at some ungodly hour (midday) as we had people coming to view the house. I had no idea what to wear either, on account of having a bit of a fat day and the weather being so rubbish, so I just threw on my fave black tee, which is incredibly flattering and comfy for days like this.
I also braved it and wore my acid wash jeans, as I felt that they have not had enough wear considering I bought them a few weeks ago. They have however become a wee bit too tight. Off to the gym with me this week!

Jacket - River Island T-Shirt and jeans - H&M Necklace - Miss Selfridge Boots - Pasha

This jacket used to be one my fave pieces because it is so glittery and shiny and quite frankly I like the fact it looks like something a magician would wear! Unfortunately, it has become a bit too big for me so I will be selling it along with some other stuff. Just email me if you're interested!

What has everyone got planned with the rest of their weekend? I am gonna go see my Grandad tomorrow day then off to boyf's tomorrow night. Maybe squeeze in a run there somewhere as too much binging is starting to show. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday! Keep checking back, will be putting stuff on my Buy My Stuff section over the next few days.

Au revoiur! Toodle Pip!!

Last Day.

Today was my last day at Jeffery West, and I could not have been more sad to leave. So I came out and did a little shopping to cheer myself up before I had to come home and start packing to leave Uni. 1st year is officially over :(
Chances are this will be my last outfit post for this week too, as I am not sure if I will be out of my PJs tomorrow. I might actually be heading over to the pub for the last JD steak and eggs and chips and onion rings of the year. I could cry at that thought. They have become one of my many addictions over the year aside from a particularly expensive, smelly one and shopping.

Now you all know that I love a fake. Show me a student who doesn't actually. And as I don't have £95 laying around spare I decided to get myself a pair of fake DMs. I also found the cutest little skeleten necklace in the sale at Miss Selfridge, which I am thrilled about as my last one from River Island broke, Its arms and legs falling off.
Anyway here is what I wore today, along with my new purchases.

Dress - River Island Necklace - Miss Selfridge Sunglasses and owl earrings - Primark Boots - Melody Northampton.

This dress was bought just over 2 years ago at River Island, a day after my 18th Birthday, and I am pleased to say it fits me better now! All it takes is a pair of spanx!
The earrings are cute little owls that I picked up just before uni, a bargain at just £1.
These boots are from Melody Northampton, made by Carlton of London, and considering they cost a wonderful £26.99 I think they are a huge bargain and a very acceptable imitation of the real thing! So comfy too!

A short post for you guys tonight, as I am absolutely shattered, and I need to go and see what my hair looks like as I have just dyed it again and haven't actually seen it yet.
Have a good evening my lovely people!
