Children of the revolution...

Happy Monday all... Thank God it is over! Today has been a looong day of house hunting. Finally, after what felt like a million viewings all rolled into one, we found a gorgeous house. Cannot wait to move in there with some beautiful ladies and fellow wine drinkers, who are also beautiful ladies. It is gonna be a good year. I hope. I'm sure dissertation may disagree with that statement.

Anyway. Like I said yesterday, I found some bargains in Miss Selfridge on Saturday, and here is the first one.

(Sorry for the grainy quality. The camera is playing up again.)
Peplum lace top - Miss Selfridge, Black vest - New Look, Pleather trousers - Topshop, Flatform boots - Office, Belt - Vintage.

So this top was a bargain at £7, but then student discount which is currently at 20% took the price down to £5.60. I wasn't sure about it at first because it is from the petite range and the waist sat quite funnily, but I thought for that price I couldn't really go wrong so I bought it anyway and stuck a belt on it. I just love all the lacey detail! As it is quite girly I teamed it with pleather trousers and chunky, grungy platforms to punk it up a little and make it a bit more me.

As it has been a loooong day, I am gonna head off to finish my bottle of wine then head to bed. I am tired and grumpy at the world so it is best I get out of the way of everyone.

Love you all!

Telegram Sam...

Hey guys! A little late night post for you all.
The main reason for this is that I have been having my nails done by my gorgeous housemate Amber. I didn't know until recently that she is a qualified nail technition. What a bonus! She even managed to get acrylics on my non existent nails. (I am a chronic biter)

Anyway, here is the result!

Personally I'm pretty freaking impressed. I feel like for the first time in a long time I have ladylike hands and I love it. Instead of the short, ugly stubs I have, these make a nice change!

On another note, I bought some beautiful items in the Miss Selfridge sale yesterday, which will be featuring in  posts this week, but for now, I shall leave you with a little wishlist of new full price stuff I would kill for!

This dress is a load of gorgeousness by Jones and Jones. I love their dresses soo much. They are flattering and the full skirts are beautiful! Plus the lace on this is just the right mount of gothiness for me to stop it being too girly.
I am dying for a pair of these, after my trusty Primark ones from this summer have just grown legs and disappeared!

I have wanted a pair of Jaquard trousers for aaaages now. I think they would look super cool with a baggy grungy tee and some studded or chunky ankle boots like these. Both from Topshop.

Loving both of these grungy pieces too, although I am aware I have missed the blogger craze for army jackets. I tend to like things the season after they are cool. Jacket from Ebay and Dress from Topshop.
Finally, another beautiful dress from Jones and Jones. Red wine and black lace. Cannot get much more perfect. I see this paired with some chunky boots, ankle socks and a dirty denim jacket. Lovely Jubly.

Right guys, as it is getting verrrry late and I have had a busy day at the gym, not to mention some new house viewings tomorrow, I am off to bed to watch the rest of Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire and to geek out. And probably send lots of mushy texts to the boy. Normal night really.
Hopefully tomorrow I shall have an outfit post for you sexy beings.

MWAH!!!!!

Who's gonna drive you home...

So another week has gone. Time is going sooo fast, cannot believe we are over half way through our Uni year already!
Last Wednesday I went out for the first time since Halloween, and my goodness, the night did not disappoint! Sorry it has taken me sooo long to get this post done, I have been a busy bee, but now all my work is done for the time being, I can finally catch up on some blogging and magazines. Leave me links to read! I wanna find some new blogs!

Anyway. This is what I wore out on Wednesday...

Body - Melody, Skirt - River Island, Cardigan - Primark, Boots - Pasha, Earrings - Vintage, Necklace - Topshop.

Not gonna lie to you, I was a little far gone when these photos were taken. What can I say, it was a goooood night.

I bought this body a while ago, but till now I have not had an opportunity to wear it. I also had a bit of a breakdown before I left the house because I felt like the Christmas pounds were showing, but unfortunately, not on the boobies. However, once I stuck my vintage belt over the top of the skirt, I felt the look come together.
I decided to accessorize with a bit of big bling, I like combining chavvy and tacky jewellery with grungy type clothing.

I am now off to catch up on some blogging and read Elle, How terrible is it that I am a fashion student and don't yet know this season's trends.
My night will then be finished off with a glass or two of wine and girly chats with Andi, before my long and hideous day tomorrow. Blaaahh.

What are you all up to on this fine evening?

MWAH!!

Nice day for a white wedding...

I am still on the 80s tunage incase you can't tell from the title of this post.
I am feeling particularly gothy today, and I'm not gonna lie, I actually love it.
The boyf decided that actually a septum piercing wasn't the worst thing in the world and told me to go for it. (ILOVEYOU... Gross mushy shit. Apologies to everyone who doesn't care.)
And I have to say, despite the fact I went into the piercing place shaking like a leaf and trying not to vom (totes attractive) I came out sooo happy with it, when my eyes stopped watering enough for me to see it at least.

I also FINALLY got my shoes from Office... not entirely their fault, they delivered within the time they said, I forgot there was a bank holiday, so anyway, they came about 10 minutes after I'd left for Uni, so my dad had to post them up to me and they just got here today. (Thanks dad! And if you're reading, don't kill me for my pig's ring... it is cool ;) )

Anyway. Here is my whole gothy look. Buffalo boots included. In love. <3

Tee and earings - Topshop, Leggings and cardigan - Primark, Socks - Newlook, Boots - Office

So this is my gothy look.
I am in LOVE with these boots. They may look a bit ridiculous, but my God they are comfy and quite frankly, I think they are cool.
I'm not gonna go on about the Primark leggings as I have many times, however, these are a new pair and they are staying up better than the older ones, but for £4 I don't mind replacing them every few months.
The tee I have commented on plenty of times so I won't bother again.

I am now off to do some coursework, and natter with my housemate about her upcoming trip to NYC. I am a wee bit jelly.

Hope you are all having a lovely night!

LOVE love LOOOOOVE!

If I could turn back time...

So today I have done nothing really except a load of assignment work.
This is only a quick post of what I wore the other day, because I forgot the time and am now running late for work.

I have CRAZY eyes.

Tee and necklace - Topshop, Shorts - River Island, Socks - New Look, Creepers - Melody, Jacket and earrings - Vintage.

I must now dash, this is only a quick post as I have an hour before work and I need a shower and am busting for a wee. Glamorous.

Btw still feeling the 80s here.

Love love love!

Invisible touching.

Hey guyysss!
As you can probably tell by the lack of blogging I am back at uni and it is all busy busy busy.
This week has been a busy one, town Monday, Lectures and work all day Tuesday, a massive presentation yesterday, which went very well thanks for asking ;) then a trip into town, where I got my new daith heart piercing, which you can see below. I was going to get my septum done, but as the boyf really doesn't like them I thought I'd better not for the moment ha!

Anyways, this is what I wore today.

Dress - Ark, Earrings - New Look, Tights - Henry Holland, Heeled Creepers - Melody.

I have always been obsessed with the 80s, but recently my obsession has got worse. Can't stop listening to the groovy tunage, and I think this is starting to reflect a little in my clothes.

I thought I'd give this dress an outing as it hasn't been worn in a while, but I thought I'd mix it up a bit and wear it with some grungy stuff.
The creepers were a purchase from Monday, and as much as I love them, they are surprisingly uncomfortable, the soles are lovely and soft and springy, however, the toes are so hard that they really do hurt after a while, so I am hoping that they will soften up soon, which I'm sure they will. Until then I'll just have to grin and bear it. The things we do for fashion.

What do you think of my new piercing? I love it, but I'm not gonna lie, out of everything I've had, and that is alot, this was by far the most painful because of the awkward shape of the heart jewellery. However, should any of you wish to get it done, I got it at Pulse in Northampton. The place is lovely and the people are sooo friendly and helpful. Get down there for any piercing or tattoo needs!

I am now off to cook dinner, the boyf is on his way round and like a little grungy housewife I am preparing my special seafood and lemon risotto. Good little wifey :P I'll probably be dancing round my kitchen to 70s glam rock and 80s tunage while I do it.

By the way, anyone else super excited to hear that David Bowie is bringing out a new album?! Praying this will result in him going on tour. Would give my left bollock to see him. If I had any.

Anyways. Must dash.
Have a good night my loverrrrs!
Toodle Pip!
